Who fills it in and who signs it
The Orders and Attendance Book (Libro de Órdenes y Asistencias) is part of the mandatory documentation that follows the works: the works director and the construction director enter in it the instructions that belong to their functions (CTE, Part I, Annex II).
Each works' book is the one regulated by Decree 462/1971 and the Order of 9 June 1971. This sheet does not replace it: the professional who gives the instruction fills it in, to prepare it or keep a record of it, and it leaves room for their signature and the contractor's acknowledgement.

Frequently asked questions
Does this sheet replace the Orders Book?
No. Each works' book is the one regulated by Decree 462/1971 and the Order of 9 June 1971. This sheet is a template to prepare each instruction and keep a record of them, not the book.
Who writes in the Orders and Attendance Book?
The works director and the construction director, who enter in it the instructions that belong to their functions (CTE, Part I, Annex II).
What should each instruction record?
Who it is addressed to, what is asked, where and by when, and which drawing or detail of the project it refers to. One instruction per entry makes it easier to check later whether it was carried out.
